Rocky Mount, NC
Donna Latrice Joyner was born on February 28,1972 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. She had been suffering from Scleroderma for a few years. She comfortably departed from
us on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina.
Donna was a 1990 graduate of Rocky Mount Sr. High School.
She became a member at Word Tabernacle Church on December 5, 2010. Donna was a faithful member until her health failed her but her faith in God continued.
Donna was always someone that you could talk to. The advice she gave was never forced no matter the situation, she was going to give her opinion truthfully. Going back to Donna with the same problems was never an issue as she would respectfully let you know how she felt once more. Donna would give her last to whomever may have been in need. She will forever be remembered for just being herself.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Joyner Jr., and her mother, Cheryl Ann Joyner.
Donna is survived by her two daughters, Tanesha Porter (Stephanie Bryant) and Sakeithia Porter (Sherman Hardy); two brothers, Kenneth Joyner and Travis “Ameer” Lee; two grand-
children, Ziyonna and Zaderon Hardy; stepmother, Frances Lee Joyner; two god-daughters, Remondia Bullock and Keyana Barnes; two god-grandchildren, Makel and Charisma; special aunts, uncles, special friends, Margaret “Lulu” and Monica Harris and a host of other relatives and friends.

Celebrating the life of Ms. Donna L. Joyner
Thank you for signing Ms. Donna L. Joyner's Guestbook
I want to send my deepest sympathy to the family of Ms. Donna L. Joyner.
The bible tells us we can gain comfort from God, even during times of sorrow. We can pray to our heavenly father for help to cope with the sorrow felt from the death of a loved one.
By prayer and supplication, let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6
The bible also promises that God “will wipe out every tear from [our] eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.” (Revelation 21:4) How comforting and reassuring that is! May you find comfort by relying on our heavenly father and learning more about the blessings of God's kingdom.

To the family,
My condolences to the loss of your love one. I know it is hard to deal with this grief-stricken pain. But God, whose name is Jehovah, stated in his word the Bible that “death will be no more”. (Psalms 83:18, 1 Timothy 3:16, Revelation 21:4). Also, his son, Jesus Christ, assured us at John 5:28,29: “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment”. So, rest assured, you will be able to see your love one again.
I’ve attached a link to one of our tracts from our website, jw.org. The tract asks this question, “Can the Dead Really Live Again?” It has wonderful scriptural encouragement that will help from God’s word.
Again, my sincerest condolences,

The lose of a loved one is a time of sadness. I have found comfort in these verses from the bible.
2 Corinthians 1:3,4"Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God."
May these verses bring you and your family comfort.
My sincerest condolences,Crysta Rene
