Celebrating the life of Mrs. Dorothy B. Pope
Thank you for signing Mrs. Dorothy B. Pope's Guestbook
I want to send my deepest sympathy to the family of Mrs. Dorothy B. Pope.
The bible tells us we can gain comfort from God, even during times of sorrow. We can pray to our heavenly father for help to cope with the sorrow felt from the death of a loved one.
By prayer and supplication, let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6
The bible also promises that God “will wipe out every tear from [our] eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.” (Revelation 21:4) How comforting and reassuring that is! May you find comfort by relying on our heavenly father and learning more about the blessings of God's kingdom.

She was more than my cousin...at times, she was my aunt, a big sister, a confidant, and a close friend. Life will not be the same without you. You always took care of Stephanie and me in any way that you could, and you always made sure that Kayla, Maria, and Isaiah had something under the Christmas tree from you. Rest on, Doris. You will be tremendously missed. We will see you 'in the morning' (Psalm 30:5).
