Eddie Buffaloe, Jr.
Eddie M. Buffalo, Jr. is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie M. Buffaloe, Sr. of Potecasi, North Carolina. Eddie and his wife Assata, have three sons, Bryan, Michael and Aren.He has been with H.D. Pope Funeral Home since 2001. He currently works for the State of North Carolina as the State Drug Recognition Expert Program Manager in Raleigh. He has been a certified law enforcement officer since 1991. In 2012, Eddie was appointed as Chief of Police for the Elizabeth City Police Department in Elizabeth City, North Carolina (Pasquotank County). He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Mount Olive College. He has served as a member of the North Carolina Army National Guard and received Honorable Discharge in July, 1998. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Exodus Youth Incorporated, and the Technical Advisory Committee on Impaired Driving, North Carolina Association of Chiefs of Police, International Association of Chiefs of Police, North Carolina Law Enforcement Officers Association, North Carolina Gang Investigator’s Association, as well as several civic and other law enforcement organizations throughout the State of North Carolina.
