Mr. Nicholas C. "Nick" Sears, 38, of Atlanta, Georgia, and formerly of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, died on October 6, 2018 in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

MR. NICHOLAS CLAYTON “NICK” SEARS

Nicholas Clayton. Sears was born to Apostle Larry and St. Vanessa Sears on December 19, 1979.

Nick’s name was put on The House of Prayer Roll at Birth.

Nick loved The Untied House of Prayer for All People. Nick was very active in The United House of Prayer for All People.

During the Daddy McCollough Era:
Nick participated in such events as Marching in the Parades, Convocation Announcements, Attending Church Services, Attending Sunday School, and Baptisms. Nick was also a spectator at the softball games.

During the Madison Era:
Nick participated in such events as Marching in the Parades, Convocation Announcements, Attending Church Services, Attending Sunday School, and Baptisms. Nick was also a spectator at the softball games.

Nick started a choir called “The Angels of Praise”, at The United House of Prayer for All People in South Mills, NC. Nick traveled to South Mills from Rocky Mount to attend services. They song before the Bishop during a rededication service In South Mills, NC.
Nick also started a choir at The United House of Prayer for All People in Newport News, VA #2.

Nick also helped in many ways in The United House of Prayer for All People in Rocky Mount, NC such as decorating for programs, being the Master of Ceremony, or doing what he loved best, which was singing.

During the Bailey Era:
Nick participated in such events as Marching in the Parades, Convocation Announcements, Attending Church Services, Attending Sunday School, and Baptisms. Nick was also a spectator at the softball games.

Nick enhanced The Greensboro State.
He was a member of The Bailey Hearts of Praise, and The Bailey One Voice. He was the President of the Youth Department all at The United House of Prayer for All People in Durham, NC.

Nick was a member of The Performing Arts Choir, and he was a small part in the display where he played “Doctor Nicholas Sears” in 2016. Nick was The Drum Major for The Bailey Brass Connection. Nick also did the beautiful decorations for his brother Derrick’s wedding which was held at The United House of Prayer for All People in Rocky Mount, NC.
No matter which United House of Prayer for All People his Father went to Pastor, Nicholas was always there with love and support.


On October 6,2018 The State of Virginia, The Great Greensboro Church State, and The State of Georgia, loss a “Shining Star”. Nick had a way of leaving an impression on everyone he encountered.

Nicholas was a graduate of Rocky Mount Senior High School Class of 1998.

He is survived by his parents: Apostle Larry and St. Vanessa Sears, his siblings, grandparents, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and a host of other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.

Nicholas will surely be missed. So, sleep on our son! We loved you but, GOD loved you best!

A Visitation for Mr. Sears will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, with the Funeral Service following the Visitation, beginning at 12:00 noon, on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at United House of Prayer for All People, 1330 E. Raleigh Blvd., in Rocky Mount, NC. The Interment will take place immediately after the service at Bishop S.C. Madison Memorial Cemetery in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
