Rocky Mount, NC

Quintin Carr, lovingly known to his family and friends as Scooby, was born January 29th, 1971in Nash County, North Carolina to the late Mr. William Ward III and the late
Minister Magalene Carr Parker.

As a child, he experienced special love and care from within the home he shared with his
grandmother the late Helen Carr. Quintin was also blessed to have distinct familial love
from his aunt, Minister Deborah Williams, his uncle, Elder Sylvester Williams, (his
“Ma” and “Pa”) and his cousin he loved as a sister, Nneka Williams.

Our beloved son, father, and brother departed this life on November 1st, 2018.

Quintin was very proud to have accomplished his high school graduate status
under the most challenging of circumstances. He was also very proud with his completion
of many certified courses that prepared him to become a specialist in the field of
construction, especially carpentry, flooring, and roofing.

Quintin lived through a myriad of experiences, through them all he aspired to
and achieved many successes.

Quintin loved his children immensely and he leaves these eleven precious souls to cherish
his memory: Shaqueeta Small (Shiedha), Malkan Carr (Brittany), Keyonna Dickens,
Quintin Carr Jr. (Bianca), Quintin J. Carr, Laqueshia Dickens, Montez Carr (Cierra),
Akeria Carr, Ky’onte Carr, Malik Sullivan, and Shondreah Alston.

He also leaves to treasure his memory his fiancé, Latricia Battle; five brothers,
